Truvelle Bridal 2017 Presentation

Truvelle Bridal 2017 Presentation

I LOVE bridal fashion. I always have. Its delicate, unique, whimsical, modern, with movement and beauty in all aspects of design, highlighting the essence of all women’s shapes and curves. Not to mention the fact that it will be one of, {if not the } most important dress a woman wears in her life. Truvelle Bridal was having a 2017 collection presentation last night at their studio,  I took a change of clothes to work just incase I decided to pop by after work… Im so happy I did!

The gowns are inspired by the essence of the Vancouver neighbourhood, Gastown. The walls, architecture, the streets,  mindset of the West Coast. Each dress is named after different streets for example; the Cambie, Abbott, Carroll, Powell, etc…the Cordova dress with that stunning leg slit! To hear where, what and who inspires the designers is powerful when it comes to creating a vision and clothing.

I thought it would be fun to see this show, YOLO moment and went on my own! If you are a bride to be, I would highly recommended taking a gander at  these dresses. Local , environmentally friendly, effortlessly minimal and elegant. This is the first collection that has multiple designers.
